Learning Geometry

While making my way through Walmart the other day, I came upon this cute little toy to help little ones learn shapes and colors, PERFECT!! I work with so many students who struggle in geometry that I decided Gabriel needed to get started early :)

He was a fan of the blue square

After explaining the yellow shape was a Hexagon, he had to investigate this oddly shaped thing a bit more

Hmmm... where do these go?

By the end of summer I predict we'll be solving geometric problems including circumference and area :)
