He's had QUITE a big month, as always!! :) He went on his first boat ride and loved it! He tried avocados, sweet potatoes and bananas, and is pretty ok with all of them now. He sat in a real swing for the first time, didn't like it at first, then decided it was an ok thing to do. He helped me celebrate my 1st Mother's Day :) He has really gotten better at sitting up. He swam in his own frog pool for the first time and LOVED LOVED LOVED it! He started drinking water out of a sippy cup. He helped his Great Great Grandma celebrate her 97th Birthday! He went to his first Memorial Day parade and Loved it! He cut his very first tooth! (It finally cut through somewhere between Wed the 30th and Thurs the 31st). And he finished his last day of school at daycare!!!

He's so ornery, he just makes my day!
He's still a very happy boy. Lately he's refused to eat because of those painful little teeth coming in and he's been a little more fussy, but he's been a pretty tough boy through the whole process. He's working on his own version of crawling to get around. He rolls, pivots on his tummy, rolls, pivots, etc to get where he wants to go. He can kind of get up on all fours (pictures soon!) but can't put all the mechanics together. I suspect that at the 9 month mark he'll be on the move!! Bring on the baby gates!! He loves going for walks, playing in his pool and swinging on the front porch. He LOVES music! He really enjoys the organ at church and will stop anything he's doing to listen to it. He likes to "sing" along with anyone :) He gets very excited when the cats come around and tries to "pet" them, much to their dismay! He's figured out how to take off his hat and sunglasses so he doesn't really wear those anymore :( He still likes pretty much anyone he meets and LOVES to flirt with girls!! So far the separation anxiety is at a minimum, so hopefully we won't have that TOO bad! And at school last week I SWEAR he waved good-bye to me! He only did it once that day and hasn't since, but I'm counting it!!
We are so blessed to have this wonderful little person in our life and we love him to pieces!!
