Broccoli Cheddar Chicken Braid

Pinterest has done AMAZING things for our dinner table! Found this one about a week ago and it turned out great!

Ingredients:

-2 cans crescent rolls
-2 cups chicken chunks, cooked (I used the Tyson pre-cooked kind)
-2 cups cheddar cheese
-2 cups frozen broccoli, cooked and chopped (I used the steam-able microwave kind)
-1/2 cup Light Mayo
-Egg yolk
-Rosemary

Directions:

-Preheat oven to 375 degrees
-Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Unroll crescents and spread lengthwise to make a rectangle.
-Press all seams together to make one big layer of dough
-In a large bowl, combine cheese, mayo, broccoli and chicken
-Spread mixture evenly over layer of dough
-Using a sharp knife, cut horizontal strips one inch apart down each side of the dough
-Fold strip across the top of the dough, alternating sides to make a braid
-Brush a beaten egg yolk on top of braid, sprinkle with fresh Rosemary (I omitted this part)
-Bake for 28-30 minutes or until golden brown

Reviews:

This was very good! Kind of like a giant Hot Pocket.  This will make enough for a family of four or enough for two with leftovers.

Brett gave it a 7.5 out of 10
Brooke gave it a 7 out of 10
