Friends, babies and memories!!

This past weekend Brett and I headed back to Athens, OH for our good friend Jerri's Baby Shower!! It was quite the walk down memory lane! We arrived in time for lunch and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings, a favorite spot while living there, and to watch the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines!! If you all remember, Brett lived right beside BW's and we remember sitting in his apartment late at night smelling the heavenly smells of BW's food! We stole a quick glance at his former college home and drove around campus a little bit! Our friends Megan and Dave Murray joined us and we girls headed off to the shower while the men took Meg and Dave's daughter and friend and all headed home.

After the shower, Brett, me, Dave, Meg, Melissa and her boyfriend Jeremy all went to Abrio's, a new Italian restaurant in Athens for dinner. They have AMAZING rolls, which I quickly ate about 5 or 6 of! We all caught up on each other's lives and had a great time!

The next morning, Brett and I met up with Melissa and Jeremy and our other good friends Kent and Janet Cline for breakfast at one of our local favorite spots; The Union Street Diner. We had a wonderful time catching up and laughing and eating great breakfast food! And Janet surprised us with none other, than her most awesome wonderful Peanut Butter Cake!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this Woman! :) Unfortunately for Brett he can't have any since he gave up desserts for Lent. It's SO yummy!!
We drove to the Plains and drove by my old apartment, it appears that someone is living there now, such an awesome little place! We drove by Allen Pet Clinic hoping to see Snoop (the house cat) sitting in the doorway, but sadly he wasn't there :(

It was a great weekend of catching up with old friends and seeing our life from a few years ago. We can't believe it's been over a year since we've been back there! Time goes so fast!!
