Last night started the First Church Men's Basketball season with an exciting and close game of Team Pearce and Team Silky. Team Pearce got a quick start out of the gate with a comfortable lead and held on to it up to the half. Team Silkey responded with a quick gain and overtook the lead in the second half. Brett Purcell added 9 points for Team Pearce and grabbing the lead once again. After a long, grueling second half, Team Pearce fought to keep the lead and won 51-46! Tune in next week at 6:15 for Team Pearce's next match-up with Team Mirante!
