Chicken Taco Chili

Yes it's summer, yes it's some of the hottest days of the year currently.  But I saw this recipe and it sounded very good and let's face it, we all still eat hot food during the summer.  So I decided have a bowl of chili in June wasn't such a faux pa.

Ingredients:

-1 can black beans
-1 can kidney beans
-1 can corn
-16 oz can tomato sauce
-28 oz can diced tomatoes
-1 packet of taco seasoning
-1 Tbsp of chili powder
-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

Combine all ingredients and put into crockpot.  I drained the beans and corn, but added the whole cans of the other items.  Cook on LOW for 10 hours or HIGH for 6 hours.

Reviews:

Brett gave it a 7 out of 10
Brooke gave it an 8 out of 10

Brett said it would be much better with tortilla chips mixed in when you serve it.  And it DOES thicken up after sitting in the fridge overnight which does make it better in my opinion.  Adding taco cheese might be another nice addition.  You could also add green chilies or jalapenos if you wanted spice it up a bit
