I finally have a bit of time today to do some catching up on the Blog!! On Thursday, the 22nd, our first day of Christmas break, Brett and I took Gabey over to Lima to get his first round of vaccines, finally! He was supposed to have them 3 weeks ago, but he was sick then, so we held off. Gabe did really well at the Dr office. He took his oral vaccine great and was in such a good mood! They had 2 nurses do the vaccines at the same time in both of his legs so it would be done sooner. They made me hold both of his arms down so he was pinned :( I tell you, it's AWFUL watching your baby scream in pain!! After a few minutes he calmed down and we all went home. He took a great nap all afternoon, but as soon as he woke up he cried for about 3 hours. He couldn't get comfortable and was just an unhappy little guy. Finally around 7 he calmed down enough to eat and head to bed for a good night's rest.

Vaccines make you very sleepy, a good nap with Daddy was the best cure :)
The next morning he woke up a smiley, happy baby! We decided comfy penguin outfit would be good to lounge around in all day!

I don't look forward to having to take him again in February and doing that all over again! :(
