We woke up Saturday morning to thunderstorms and chilly weather, NOT what we all had wanted for our weekend mini-vacation! But we didn't let it get us down.... Anthony set out fishing and brought back a nice catfish!
These beautiful ducks were quite pleased with the weatherman and spent the day going through all of our "ponds" in our yard finding some good grub
During one of the breaks in the storms we all piled in the boat and made our way over to the Ski Zone! It's been 2 years since I've had a chance to ski and despite the choppy water it felt great!
Jumped the wake!
I tried teaching Anthony to ski, quite the feat in the ever choppy waters of Indian Lake, but he was a trooper and tried a few times
I think the skis were just about as big as he was! And after some hard work he got up on one ski for a few seconds!
Even Don couldn't resist getting up on the skis!
Brett even joined in the fun and went tubing with Ant!
Poor guys got tossed all over the place!
That evening the Donnelly's joined us at the Lake and they all took advantage of the clearer weather to get in some boating time. The boys even talked Deb into tubing! She and Ant enjoyed some water time!
After a cookout it was time for a Cornhole Tournament.
Chloe THOROUGHLY enjoyed herself rolling in the mud puddles and having lots of people to play fetch with her! Needless to say, she had a bath before bed and crashed for the evening!
The tournament lasted well past dark and in the end, Brett and Chris were crowned the champions.
So while the weatherman didn't cooperate with us, we all had a great time and it was wonderful to be camping and boating again with family and friends!!
