We then headed downtown to our hotel. Brett was able to get us an amazing room at the Hilton Netherland Plaza in Downtown Cincinnati!! Such an awesome hotel! Very historical and has great charm! Great details and old style settings.

We were staying on a floor that gave us access to the Belevedere Club, which was awesome! We were able to have appetizers Saturday night and then breakfast on Sunday morning!

We then went back to the room and got ready for an evening out. I had to show you this pic because Liz sent me this really cute dress! Thanks Liz!!!
For our evening out we went on a BB Riverboat dinner cruise on the Ohio River. Our boat was the River Queen! They take you up the river quite a ways and serve you a HUGE buffet dinner and then turn around and head back toward the city when it's dark and the skyline is all lit up!

While we were pulling back into the dock we could watch the game on the big screen in the stadium and got to see the Reds take the lead!!

Since we couldn't freeze our wedding pie from last year we had to improvise and order cake from roomservice that night. Chocolate cake and 2 glasses of milk! They even gave us a little bouquet of flowers!
The next morning we got up, ate breakfast at the Belvedere Club and then got ready to go to the Reds game!! Brett got us seats in the Diamond Club. You get a WONDERFUL brunch before the game and then have comfy seats behind home plate! SO AMAZING!!!

For our anniversary we got each other a gift. I got Brett a Coleman Grill. It's smaller, but now we can have grilled burgers, chicken and hot dogs! Hotel de Purcell can now serve cookout food!!
Along with my massage, Brett got me the Willow Tree "Together" figurine of the Husband and Wife!! I really wanted this, such a great hubby!!
We had SUCH a wonderful time celebrating our 1 year anniversary!! We talked about all the different places we'd been and things we'd done over the past year and couldn't believe how crazy the 1st year was! But it was an awesome year and we're looking forward to many more!!
