Christmas with Grandma Shirley!

This past weekend we drove up to Kenton to start off the family Christmas Celebrations! On Saturday we joined Don and Deb and went up to Findlay for the big Purcell family Christmas. Great food, fun family and great afternoon! We always do a big, fun exchange where small children were used this year as "guards" for gifts you want to keep!

Thanks to the help of small children and Don and Deb, Brett and I were able to get a great set of knives!! No more do we have to saw through our meat with $1 dollar "steak" knives! NOOO... we now have a deluxe set that will slice through anything!! We were psyched!

On Sunday we had Christmas with Grandma Shirley since she was flying to the warm, sunny south to spend Christmas with Aunt Tina, Aunt Julie and Don and Ashley and Robert and the girls in Bradenton. We started the party off with a FILLING brunch topped off with none other than PEANUT BUTTER PIE! Many of you may remember this pie featured at the wedding of Brett and Brooke this past May! Oh it's Heavenly!!
