Buckeyes in the Sunshine State

So on Saturday Brett and I finally went to tailgate with the Sarasota-Manatee Ohio State Alumni Association!! They host game watch parties at two different locations, one in Sarasota and one in Bradenton, so we went down to the street a couple blocks to Tequila Beach Sports Bar and Grill to watch the game with fellow OSU Alum and fans and see the Buckeyes beat the Badgers!!! Quite an awesome set up! We are reserved an entire back room that is decorated in Scarlet and Gray balloons and tables. They have raffles for a lot of OSU clothing and memorabilia. And you can watch the game on a HUGE screen! They have a DJ as well that plays OSU music throughout commercials and such! Quite festive!!

They also make Buckeyes just for the occasion! So Brett and I got 3, and they were heavenly!!

Every time the Buckeyes scored the waitresses passed out free "Buck Shots".... basically tasted like watermelon Jolly Ranchers... and we're quite certain there was little to almost no alcohol in them because after practically 5 shots each, we were both completely fine. They were tasty though! And while we all did our Buck Shots, this older woman ran around the bar waving her OSU flag..... former cheerleader perhaps??

During some commercial breaks they had contests for people to get into the money chamber to "Grab that Dough!!" haha Two people got to do it, funny to watch! It was fake money though, only good at Tequila Beach, so oh well!

Quite a fun time, nice to be surrounded by OSU fans while watching the game!! GO BUCKS!!!
