Christmas Joy

I thought it was about time to update the Blog since it's been a week and a half. It's been a very rough week and a half here. But out of all of this we have been very blessed with the kindness and overwhelming support and love from family, friends and coworkers. There is so much good in people and it has touched our hearts immensly. We have felt all of your prayers and are so thankful for them and all of your love and support. We know God has a plan for us, though we're having a very difficult time understanding it now. But we've seen His love through all of you and are comforted in this. We are sad and dissapointed, but are not discouraged. We still have hope for the future and pray God will bless again with a little one.

Admidst all this, it has been difficult to find the usual Christmas Joy we normally feel this time of year. We're half way through December and haven't really felt the excitement of the season yet. But despite anything any of us are going through, we must remember why we are celebrating and still rejoice and gather and celebrate.

So, in moving forward, we got our little Charlie Brown tree and hung every last ornament we could find to fit on this cute little thing. We got a smaller tree this year so it would be easier to put into the spare bathroom during the day so that cats wouldn't mess with it! :) We really like it and this year was Brett's year for lights, so we have white lights this year.
